3CRC TERMS AND CONDITIONS

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY

Under the 3CRC - Coalfields Cross Country Running Club Incorporated Committee for membership of 3CRC Incorporated and in consideration of and as a condition of acceptance of my membership application to 3CRC Incorporated for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators hereby waive all and any claim, right or cause of action which I or they might otherwise have for or arising out of loss of life, injury, damage or loss of any description whatsoever which I may suffer or sustain in the course of or consequent upon my entry or participation in the said event(s).

This waiver, release and discharge shall be and operate separately in favour of all persons, corporations and bodies involved in or otherwise engaged in promoting or staging the event and the servants, agents, representatives and officers of any of them.

Further I realise that in respect of my participation in the events listed in the current seasons that there are various hazards that I should be aware of, and which are a source of danger to me when running. These include:

* Moving vehicles,both on and off roads

* Steep and slippery terrain

* Gutters and other uneven running surfaces

* Protruding tree roots

* Other runners, pedestrians and strange/undesirable persons

Various other hazards which the organisers may or may not be aware of and which the organisers may not have explained before the event

In respect of the hazards listed above, I declare that I will familiarise myself with the course prior to the race and make myself aware of the hazards that exist on the course.

Furthermore, I declare that I am physically fit enough to complete in the races in question and do not hold the organisers responsible for any consequence of and physical condition that I may or may not be aware.

Results will be posted for public use on the 3CRC Automated Club website on a weekly basis.

Photographs taken by committee members may be used for publicity and posted on the 3CRC Facebook page.

To qualify for any run trophy or award, runners must complete a minimum 60% of all runs.

In the interest of safety and the future success of our junior runners, 3CRC will not allow any child under the age of 16 years to compete in the long run category. In addition, children 11 years and under must be accompanied by an adult on any run.

Terms and conditions form part of this membership agreement. If the applicant is under the age of 18, the term and conditions must be approved by a parent or guardian.

Agreement

For the purpose of running the club 3CRC a requirement is collecting personal information from its members.

Any 3CRC member has the right to deselect any email or SMS communication by clicking onto the unsubscribe link which is located at the bottom of an email communication.

In conjunction with Athletics NSW the affiliation conditions require your contact information to be kept on their database.
